The 2010 Toyota Sienna is a 4-door, up to 8-passenger minivan, available in four trim levels - CE, LE, XLE and Limited. The CE and LE trims come in seven- and eight-passenger configurations; the upper trims are seven-passenger only. All but the CE offer a choice of front-wheel or all-wheel drive; the CE is front-wheel drive only. It is spacious, comfortable and comes laden with various convenient features that make it a true family van.

 

The wide choice of model grades combined with extensive standard equipment and thoughtful features, makes Sienna a truly outstanding value. The base Sienna CE comes with front and rear air-conditioning, a six-speaker CD/MP3 stereo with an auxiliary audio jack, a telescoping steering wheel and full power accessories, 16-inch steel wheels and dual sliding rear doors with power-down windows. The LE adds a roof rack, heated side mirrors, privacy and solar energy-absorbing glass, a CD changer, steering-wheel-mounted audio controls, a folding front passenger seat, cruise control and upgraded instrumentation. The XLE features alloy wheels, power-sliding rear doors, a power liftgate, automatic headlamps, tri-zone automatic climate control, power front seats, a leather-wrapped steering wheel, wood grain interior trim, a trip computer and a removable center console. The luxurious Limited adds 17-inch alloy wheels, a sunroof, adaptive cruise control, leather upholstery, heated front seats, a leather-and-wood steering wheel, an upgraded 10-speaker JBL sound system, satellite radio, Bluetooth, rear window shades and a windshield-wiper de-icer. A wide selection of optional convenience features enhances Sienna's versatility and comfort. A DVD rear seat entertainment system with wireless headphones and nine-inch screen; navigation system with backup camera; 115-volt power outlets; second- and third-row sunshades, and a JBL Synthesis AM/FM/CD with six-disc changer and 10-speaker surround sound audio system are some of the options available. A new package for the LE combines a JBL stereo with Bluetooth and rear-seat entertainment.

 

The Sienna's standard DOHC 3.5-liter V6 engine is rated at 266 horsepower at 6,200 rpm and 245 lb. ft. peak torque at 4,700 rpm mated to a five-speed automatic transmission with intelligence (ECT-i) is standard. A Dual Variable Valve Timing with intelligence (Dual VVT-i) system operates on both the intake and exhaust valves to ensure optimal performance and efficiency at all engine speeds. The EPA-estimated city/highway fuel economy ratings are 17/23 MPG for front-wheel-drive models and 16/21 MPG for AWD models.

 

Anti-lock brake system (ABS) with Electronic Brake-force Distribution (EBD) and Brake Assist (BA) are standard on all Sienna models. All seats are equipped with three-point seatbelts. Front seat-mounted side airbags and side-curtain airbags covering all three seat rows are standard equipment on all Sienna grades. The LATCH system (Lower Anchor with Tethers for Children) is used in all second-row seating positions. An available DVD-based satellite navigation system for XLE and Limited models includes a backup camera. The camera automatically projects an image of what its lens can detect behind the vehicle onto the navigation system's LCD screen when reverse gear is engaged.
